Senior Bookkeeper wanted for our client in Crawley

About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic IT consultancy business. We’re looking for an experienced and commercially-minded Senior Bookkeeper to look after the day-to-day accounting, and help move the business forward, on a part-time basis. You will be working alongside a Financial Controller and one of your main tasks will be looking after the purchase and sales ledgers.

Your expertise should include:

Customer invoicing and sales ledger management

Credit control and debtor reporting to directors

Supplier invoices and purchase ledger management

Drafting payment runs for approval

Bank postings and reconciliations

Expense and credit card management and reconciliation

VAT returns

Payroll (possibly) and pension administration

Experience with Xero accountancy software is required

Rate of pay: £22.50 per hour

Hours: 20 hours per week split over 4 working days

Location: While the majority of the work can be completed remotely, you will need to live within a commutable distance to attend onsite on an ad-hoc basis.
