SpitBrix Overview

We are a large YouTube channel located in the LEGO fandom and have been uploading since 2013. We produce amazing LEGO stories that appeal to adults and kids alike, explaining and investigating the wonderful world of LEGO. We are looking for a creative researcher / scriptwriter to work on a freelance basis for the channel.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching and writing engaging, informative and accurate scripts for Youtube videos about LEGO. They will work together with the channel manager to bring ideas to life, providing a script for the voiceover and edit. Creativity is essential for this role. While we offer plenty of information, our scriptwriters enjoy complete creative freedom to craft the tone and entertainment elements of the script.

Tasks

• Research and write scripts for videos with a focus on accuracy and engaging storytelling in collaboration with the team.
• Ensure that scripts align with the visual direction of the videos and meet the overall content goals
• Collaborate closely with the team to ensure accuracy and clarity in narratives.

Requirements

• A strong passion for LEGO and educational content
• Proven experience in scriptwriting for YouTube channels.
• A portfolio showcasing writing ability, attention to detail, and ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and engaging way
• The ability to manage multiple scripts simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality content that meets the standards of the YouTube channel
