Freelance Recruitment Consultant

Location: Hybrid (London-based preferred)

Contract: Freelance / Part-time

Day Rate: Competitive, based on experience

Role Overview

We are seeking a driven and experienced freelance Recruitment Consultant to support us in sourcing and securing exceptional talent across key departments including Design, Buying, Merchandising, Marketing, and Retail Operations. This is a hands-on role that requires an in-depth understanding of the fashion and retail landscape, along with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the OMNES leadership team to identify immediate and future hiring needs

  • Write compelling and on-brand job descriptions

  • Proactively source candidates through a range of channels including LinkedIn, databases, and referrals

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from screening to offer stage

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of talent for priority roles

  • Coordinate interview logistics and provide feedback to candidates

  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure a positive and professional candidate experience

  • Provide insight into industry salary benchmarks and hiring trends

About You

  • Proven experience as a recruiter (in-house or agency) within the fashion, retail, or consumer space

  • A strong understanding of roles across the fashion value chain

  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills

  • A proactive approach — you’re comfortable sourcing candidates directly and building talent pipelines

  • Available to commit a minimum number of days per week, with flexibility during peak periods

  • Experience recruiting for growth-stage or startup brands is a plus
