Location: North West England

Driving License: Full UK Driving License required

About Us: T J Marshall Consultancy Ltd is a sole practitioner Chartered Quantity Surveying Practice based in South Warrington, Cheshire. We are seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated and experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join us working part time on a diverse range of projects within a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cost estimates, cost plans and budgets for various projects.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis.
  • Manage project costs, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project success.
  • Prepare tender documents and evaluate bids.
  • Provide expert advice on procurement and contract management.
  • Monitor and report on project progress and financial performance.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying.
  • Personable and comfortable meeting Clients, Contractors and other Consultants.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Proficient in cost management software and tools.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A full UK driving license is essential for site visits and client meetings.
