We're partnered with a highly respected independent Construction Consultancy with a 15-year track record of delivering professional commercial solutions and advice on mixed-use developments across Cambridgeshire. They're currently expanding their talented pool of Quantity Surveying and Cost Management Consultants and are seeking experienced professionals to join them on typically 3-month contracts, engaged via a Limited or Umbrella Company.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on diverse and exciting mixed-use development projects, resolving complex commercial issues in a professional and cost-effective manner.

What you'll be doing:

Your role will encompass a blend of pre-construction and post-construction duties, including:

• Providing expert advice on procurement routes and contract selection.
• Assisting with the appointment of consultants and compilation of tender lists.
• Conducting project feasibility studies.
• Developing effective bid and tender strategies.
• Reviewing and negotiating critical contractual documents.
• Evaluating project risks and developing robust mitigation strategies.
• Commercially analysing bids and tender returns.
• Advising on main and sub-contract formation and appointment.
• Undertaking comprehensive contract administration.
• Setting commercial strategies and leading teams to achieve challenging commercial goals.
• Identifying project risks and opportunities, developing proactive management strategies.
