Job Title: Project Manager – Commercial Fit-out

Day Rate: Up to £450/day

Duration: 12 Months +

Location: London (Hybrid)

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of commercial office refresh and refit projects for high-profile blue-chip clients. Working on the consultancy side, you will manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while minimising disruption to ongoing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage commercial office refresh/refit projects from feasibility through to handover.
  • Act as the client’s representative, coordinating contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee project programmes, budgets, risk management, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health & safety and statutory requirements.
  • Manage works within occupied buildings, ensuring minimal disruption to tenants.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor quality and progress.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes and reports.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing commercial fit-out or refurbishment projects (consultancy or client side).
  • Strong understanding of workplace design, construction processes, and procurement routes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in live, operational environments.
  • Good working knowledge of CDM regulations and best practice.
