Job Title: Freelance Project Director – Events, Expo, & Conferences

Location: West London (Hybrid)

Contract: Freelance (immediate start) on contract running until Aug '25

Overview

Mustard Jobs are looking for a highly skilled Freelance Project Director with a strong track record in delivering large-scale expos, trade shows, and conferences. You’ll lead projects from concept through delivery, managing teams, timelines, budgets, and on-site execution to ensure exceptional event experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of major expos and conferences
• Manage timelines, budgets, stakeholders, and suppliers
• Oversee on-site delivery, logistics, and production
• Ensure smooth coordination across all teams and partners
• Provide post-event analysis and reporting

Requirements

• 7+ years' experience in event project management
• Strong background in large-scale B2B/B2C events
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience managing teams, budgets, and vendors
• Able to travel and be on-site during key event phases

Nice to Have

• International or hybrid event experience
• Familiarity with event/project management tools
• Experience in the gaming industry or gaming expos
