10x Team is seeking a Freelance Principal Software Engineer – AI Trainer to remotely contribute 8–20 hours per week. You will review AI-generated outputs and refine recommendations for software architecture and coding standards.

The role focuses on practical expertise, case study creation, and feedback to improve AI-driven tooling. Based in the EU or UK, you will work asynchronously on real-world projects, shaping how AI systems understand software engineering principles and best practices while

Qualifications

Seasoned Principal Software Engineer with architecture and leadership experience.
Proficiency in multiple programming languages and engineering best practices.
Available 8–20 hours per week for remote, asynchronous collaboration.
Based in EU or UK with ability to train AI systems.

Responsibilities

Review and refine AI-generated outputs related to software engineering, system architecture, and coding standards
Assess the accuracy and practicality of AI-driven recommendations on software design, testing, and implementation
Develop real-world case studies and technical scenarios from your professional experience
Create scenario variations covering software development lifecycle, technical challenges, and industry best practices
Identify and articulate gaps or risks in AI recommendations, providing clear, structured feedback
