About the role

The ideal candidate will have experience in Digital Media and Localization project management, coupled with a good understanding of current and new technologies and workflows. In addition, the candidate will be highly motivated and able to work in the Client Operations team in Japan.

Responsibilities:

1. Post Edit subtitle translations from Machine Translation output using a template and cloud-based subtitling software for features, episodic TV series, or bonus content.
2. Degree in Linguistics, Computer Science, Translation Management, or a related field
3. Experience or interest in machine post editing subtitles
4. Proven experience in subtitle translation from scratch
5. Familiarity with streaming service workflows and client-specific style guides
6. Familiarity with current MT tools and platforms and the ability to adapt to emerging technologies
7. Good understanding and in-depth knowledge of language/country-specific cultures, known as localization
8. Problem solver with creative and innovative approach with ability to think out of the box
