Job summary

Premium Linguistic Services (PLS) is seeking freelance Kurdish Sorani interpreters for face-to-face work in Glasgow and surrounding areas. You will provide accurate interpretation, attend assignments in person, and uphold confidentiality and impartiality.

No formal interpreting qualification is required. You must be fluent in English and Kurdish Sorani, able to travel locally, and hold or obtain a valid DBS certificate before assignments.

Premium Linguistic Services (PLS) is looking for friendly, reliable and professional freelance interpreters to provide Face-to-Face interpreting services in Glasgow and surrounding areas.

Whether you are an experienced interpreter or looking to use your language skills professionally, we would be delighted to hear from you.

As a Freelance Face-to-Face Interpreter, you will help bridge language barriers by enabling clear communication between people who do not share the same language.

You will attend appointments in person and interpret conversations accurately, clearly and impartially.

Assignments may take place in a variety of professional and community settings, giving you the opportunity to meet different people and use your language skills where they are genuinely needed.

This is a flexible freelance role, so you can accept assignments based on your availability.

• Hold a valid DBS certificate or be willing to obtain one - a valid DBS is mandatory and must be in place before undertaking any assignments with PLS.
