Job summary

Immerse Safety is seeking a Freelance Health & Safety Advisor to work on a self-employed basis, delivering practical HSE guidance across client sites within about an hour of Norwich or Great Yarmouth.

You will provide site inspections, risk assessments, toolbox talks and reporting, developing policies and supporting client teams with compliant health and safety practices. Travel is required and a proactive, collaborative approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong construction background.
• NEBOSH National General Certificate or Construction Certificate (or equivalent).
• Active IOSH, IIRSM or equivalent professional membership.
• Evidence of ongoing CPD.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent, practical health and safety advice to clients.
• Conduct site inspections and audits across sites.
• Develop and review policies, procedures and documentation.

Working on a self-employed associate basis, you’ll support our clients by:
Providing competent, practical health and safety advice
Conducting site inspections and audits
Developing and reviewing policies, procedures and documentation
Delivering toolbox talks and safety briefings
Producing clear, professional reports
Building positive relationships with clients

We’re looking for someone with:
A strong construction background
A NEBOSH National General or Construction Certificate, or equivalent
Active IOSH, IIRSM or equivalent professional membership
Evidence of ongoing CPD
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A proactive, reliable and collaborative approach
Their own transport and valid self-employed insurances
