The Project

We’re looking for a freelance Food Operations Manager to help us with:

• Systemising our kitchen workflow for scale (stations, flow, prep, hygiene, efficiency)
• Writing a clear Kitchen Operations Manual (easy for franchisees to follow)
• Assisting in creating a clean, well-structured Recipe Book with standardised portions, instructions, and ingredients
• Advising on prep systems, portion control, stock efficiency, and daily processes

What You Bring

• Experience working with food businesses, especially those preparing to scale or franchise
• Knowledge of kitchen operations, workflows, and SOP development
• Strong writing and documentation skills — you’re clear, organised, and practical
• You understand how to turn a busy kitchen into a repeatable system

Contract Terms

• Short-term freelance role: 3–4 weeks
• Rate: £500/week (based on agreed milestones/deliverables)
• Total budget: £2,000
• Flexible hours — can be remote with optional on-site work in London
