Job summary

The Fix Creative Ltd in Reading is seeking a freelance Events Manager to own a busy events programme for a consumer baby brand. This part-time, fixed-term role (minimum 6 months, potential to extend to 12) offers up to £60K for 3 days per week, with one on-site day per week at the Berkshire offices and remote activity in between.

Start early to mid‑September 2026, with events including The Baby Show on 23–25 October and continuation into 2027. An experienced events lead is essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering brand-led events.
• Experience with large-scale exhibitions and trade shows.
• Full event lifecycle management from concept to delivery.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills.
• Experience managing agencies and suppliers.
• Strong commercial awareness.
• Hands-on delivery with strategic overview.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery of large-scale exhibitions, trade shows and smaller brand events.
• Take events from initial concept through to on-the-day delivery.
• Develop creative ideas and experiences that bring the brand to life.
• Manage event plans, timelines, budgets, logistics and deliverables.
• Coordinate agencies, suppliers, venues and external partners.
• Oversee multiple stakeholders and workstreams throughout the process.
• Ensure events support brand, marketing and commercial objectives.
• Measure event performance and capture learnings for future activity.
