• Review drawings, specs and tender docs to prepare cost estimates for commercial fit-out/refurbishment.
• Do detailed quantity take-offs and pricing across partitions, ceilings, flooring, joinery, decorations and M&E.
• Obtain and analyse subcontractor and supplier quotations for competitive tender submissions.
• Prepare cost breakdowns, bills of quantities, pricing schedules and project budgets including preliminaries, overheads and profit.
• Identify scope gaps, risks and value engineering opportunities to improve cost efficiency.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and suppliers to clarify tender requirements and deliver estimates within deadlines.

Our Client are an established fit out and refurbishment contractor based in London - due to several tenders coming in just before the Christmas break they need a freelance Estimator to price 2 £4million tenders for them.

• Review architectural drawings, specifications and tender documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.
• Undertake detailed quantity take-offs and pricing across all relevant trades, including partitions, ceilings, flooring, joinery, decorations and M&E.
• Obtain and analyse subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure competitive and commercially accurate tender submissions.
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns, bills of quantities, tender pricing schedules and project budgets, including preliminaries, overheads and profit.
• Identify scope gaps, cost risks and opportunities for value engineering, providing practical solutions to improve cost efficiency.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and suppliers to clarify tender requirements, manage queries and deliver accurate estimates within agreed deadlines
