Job description

Are you a retail-savvy project manager with a passion for contemporary art and ecommerce? Would you like to join one of London’s most iconic cultural institutions during an exciting period of growth and creativity?

Serpentine is on the lookout for a commercially minded, hands-on Freelance Enterprise Project Manager to supercharge our Editions and retail strategy during a high-impact, high-profile summer period. This is your chance to step into a vital role that blends art, commerce, creativity and delivery.

We’re launching four brand new artist editions, preparing for Frieze Art Fair, and looking to amplify our retail and ecommerce presence. You’ll be running the day-to-day retail operations across our galleries and online shop, with the support of our Enterprise Coordinator, and using your know-how to make things sell. From stock management to fulfilment, CRM to content, you’ll shape the customer experience and keep everything running smoothly.

This is an exciting opportunity to work for an internationally renowned gallery. You’ll be hands on, happy to pitch in and enjoy working in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.

To apply, please send a short proposal outlining your relevant experience, your approach to the brief and our availability, along with your CV or portfolio to Roshni Hirani, People Business Partner at peopleteam@serpentinegalleries.org by midnight, Friday 16 May 2025.
