Part-Time Freelance eCommerce Assistant - South Manchester

Belly Button Designs is a leading UK studio specialising in greeting cards and giftware.

From our South Manchester HQ, we craft beautiful, design-led collections for both retail and trade.

We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented eCommerce Assistant to help manage our Shopify websites,

support promotions, and improve the online customer journey. If you love working with products, platforms and data and want to be part of a small creative team-this could be a great fit!

What You'll Do:

- Keep our websites (B2B & D2C) up-to-date with the latest products and campaigns

- Manage Shopify content, product uploads, and promotional banners

- Optimise product categorisation, filtering and site navigation

- Troubleshoot backend issues and liaise with third-party platforms (PixSell, Faire etc.)

- Support seasonal launches, promotional rollouts, and sales campaigns

- Monitor data flows between Shopify, apps, and internal tools

- Track performance via Google Analytics or Looker and suggest improvements

- Collaborate with marketing, ops, and creative teams to enhance UX

What You'll Bring:

- 2+ years' experience in eCommerce, digital ops, or website maintenance

- Strong Shopify knowledge, including backend and integrations

- Data-savvy with experience using Google Analytics, Looker or similar

- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail

- Proactive mindset - we value your ideas and input!

- Comfortable with tools like Excel, SharePoint, and Google Docs

- Bonus: Experience with PixSell, Faire, or premium/lifestyle brands
