Job summary

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is recruiting Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers to work at multiple locations across Great Britain. You will deliver on-site driver induction and upgrade courses, primarily in category B vehicles (vans), combining classroom and on-road coaching.

Role offers flexible diary management, day rates up to £210, with weekend work at enhanced rates and fuel supplements. CPD training is provided.

Qualifications

• Desirable ADI Fleet Trainer or NIR registration.
• Proactive, inclusive training delivery.
• Experience delivering electric vehicle courses is a plus.
• Strong report-writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver half- and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises.
• Produce timely and accurate assessment reports.
• Deliver training in category B vehicles (mostly vans).

Job description

PDT Fleet Training Solutions is looking to onboard several Freelance Fleet Driver Trainers/ Instructors/ Assessors at multiple locations across Great Britain. This role involves working with prestigious clients and delivering a mix of classroom and on-road driver induction or upgrade courses at locations across the country.

As a Freelance Fleet Driver Trainer, your duties will include the following:

Delivering both half and full-day coaching and assessment sessions on client premises in category B Vehicles (mostly vans).
Half-day courses are 4 hours in duration.
Timely completion of an accurate assessment report.

The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:

Desirable qualifications include being accredited as an (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor Fleet Trainer or recorded on the LGV National Instructors Register (NIR).
A proactive approach to delivering engaging and inclusive training (positive driver behaviours are to be promoted).
Experience in delivering courses in electric vehicles (free upskill training is available to the right applicants).
Professional approach to the delivery of safe driving PowerPoint presentations.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
Your laptop and printer (all course presentation material is provided by PDT).
