LONG TERM FREELANCE OR TEMP-TO-PERM

We're Hiring: Freelance Design Manager

Location: North West (Greater Manchester)

Sectors: Commercial

Project Types: Commercial refurbs/fitout

FREELANCE: £300 to £400+ per day (dependant on experience)

Duration: Ongoing freelance / temp-to-perm

We are hiring for a Freelance Design Manager in the Northwest (based out of head office in Haydock) for one of our clients, the company are a commercial refurb/fitout company working with schools, colleges, offices, retail clients. We are looking for a long term Freelance Design Manager to work alongside the design team, architects, and engineers to help with construction developments.

Duties

• Leading, co-ordinating, and managing design process on commercial projects.
• Work closely with architects and engineers.
• Report to Project Manager and directors.
• Monitor site progress and ensure projects are on track.
• Ensure designs comply with building regulations and client specifications.
• Chair and manage daily design meetings (Client and internal)

Required Qualifications/Experience

• Experience as a Design Manager
• Engineering/ architectural background is preferred
• All relevant design manager qualifications
• UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
