Freelance Copywriter – Sustainability Reports

Outside IR35 / Remote / Starting in June

A leading creative corporate communications agency focusing on sustainability reporting is seeking a freelance Copywriter with experience using the Workiva Platform.

The role involves writing and editing clear, engaging copy for corporate reports on topics such as Sustainability programmes, SDGs, frameworks, and may include subjects like equality, diversity & inclusion, climate impact, supply chains, and other areas within ESG reporting.

Responsibilities include transforming complex, data-heavy information, source materials, and interview transcripts into key messages or succinct, engaging content. You will produce longer-form copy for Corporate Communications, ESG, and Sustainability reports, requiring the ability to capture and maintain audience interest. Familiarity with existing ‘Tone of Voice’ and ‘Brand Guidelines’ is preferred.

Requirements

• Experience in writing and editing longer-form copy, preferably for corporate reports
• Interest or experience in sustainability, environmental issues, CSR, or related topics
• Previous use of the Workiva Platform, even if limited
