Job description

Our client delivers Civil Engineering projects across the south west, and due to an increase in work, they are looking to recruit a Freelance Contracts Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a regional contractor who delivers infrastructure, highways, and earthworks projects.

As Contracts Manager, you will:

1. Manage multiple sites, liaising with Site Managers to ensure works are carried out according to health & safety standards, within programme deadlines, and to budget.
2. Possess pre-construction experience, including planning/programming projects and preparing quality submissions.
3. Be commercially astute, working closely with Quantity Surveyors to ensure projects' financial performance and that all variations are captured.

Our client requires a Contracts Manager with:

• ONC/HNC/Degree or higher in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in the Civil Engineering sector with a strong understanding of earthworks.
• Experience in delivering schemes from inception to completion.

Salary/Benefits:

£400-£500 CIS Umbrella
