Job description

Role Overview
We're looking for a sharp, self-motivated freelancer to support us with copywriting, copyediting, content design and problem-solving expertise.

You'll be working as part of the creative team, working with our creative strategist, senior designer, videographer, website manager and senior studio operations manager to create high impact comms. You'll mostly be working on digital content, including creating SEO-optimised web copy and email campaigns, and may also create video scripts, style guidance, and help to integrate our new tone of voice across different customer touchpoints.

The minimum criteria for this role are:

- 2-5 years’ experience in content design, UX writing, or digital copywriting
- Experience of writing in an institutional asset management company, or a media agency serving the investment and pensions industry or a news outlet covering the investment and pensions industry
- Strong understanding of pensions, markets and economic trends, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into plain language
- Writing portfolio in finance or comparable subject areas
- Editing, proofreading and communication skills to a very high level
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design
- Strong understanding of human-centred design principles
- Able to get up to speed and start contributing on projects from day one
- Good attention to detail
