About Us

We’re Ohr Labs, a start-up on a mission to protect musicians’ hearing. Our first product, the Ohr-1, is designed to alert musicians in real time when they’re exceeding safe sound exposure levels, helping to prevent long-term hearing damage.

The Role

We’re looking for a London-based content creator to produce engaging short-form video content for social media, primarily Instagram. This is a freelance position with a minimum of 10 hours per week, up to 15. The ideal candidate would be self-motivated, proactive, and in tune with current social media trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, film, and edit 2–3 short-form video pieces per week for Instagram, alongside static posts.
• Develop creative, cohesive content ideas and video series that resonate with an audience of musicians and sound engineers.
• Arrange, film and edit interviews and collaborative content with artists, DJs, and musicians exploring their stories, experiences with hearing loss, and thoughts on the Ohr-1.
• Manage our Instagram presence, including posting and engaging with followers.
• Create and publish static content (e.g. infographics, product photos, updates).
• Coordinate filming in a variety of locations.

What We’re Looking For

• Self-led and highly motivated -able to plan, film, and edit content independently with minimal supervision and input.
• Excellent social skills - confident in leading interviews and outreach.
• Strong understanding of social media trends, especially short-form video.
• Experience with video editing and videography.
• Experience creating static social media content, infographics, and working with photo editing software such as Adobe Illustrator or Canva.
• Based in London and available to travel within the city when required.
• Comfortable appearing on camera and speaking in videos.

Nice to Have

• Interest in or connection to the music world (musician, DJ, industry experience).
