Job summary

Clear Voice is seeking highly skilled freelance Simultaneous and Conference Interpreters to provide high-level language interpretation services in the UK and overseas. Opportunities exist for in-person and video remote interpreting, in live multilingual environments.

This is a self-employed, contract-based role. Interpreters should have native or near-native fluency, strong English proficiency where required, and experience across booth, remote, and whispered interpreting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ professional experience in simultaneous and/or conference interpreting.
• Accreditation or certification from a recognised interpreting body (e.g., NAATI, AIIC, ATA, UN, EU).
• Master’s degree in Interpreting or conference interpreting; post-graduate qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time interpretation in live events and conferences.
• Coordinate with event organisers and technical staff to ensure smooth delivery.
• Work across in-person and video remote interpreting formats (RSI).
