Freelance Coach - Brent and Girls Club
Location: Brent, London


Do you have a passion for sport and a desire to make a tangible difference in people's lives?

Disability Sports Coach is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Coaches to join our award-winning Community Clubs in Brent.

About us
We use the unique power of sport to enhance the lives of disabled people.

Through our inclusive clubs, coaching sessions in schools, and expert-led training, we break down barriers to sport for 3,500 disabled people, their families and carers each year, improving both physical and mental health.

The role
You'll play a vital role in delivering fun, inclusive activities for disabled children and adults (aged 8+) at our established mixed-gender club and our growing Girls Club (women and girls 8+).

This is a fantastic opportunity to break down barriers to sport, foster a love of movement, and improve our participants' physical and mental well-being.

With access to excellent facilities, including outdoor athletics track in the warmer months, you'll have the scope to deliver a wide range of engaging sessions alongside fellow coaches and dedicated volunteers.

As part of the Disability Sports Coach network, you'll benefit from wider coaching opportunities across London, expanding your reach and impact.

We also prioritise your professional development through monthly Coach Network Sessions, offering peer support, continued learning, and specialist session resources.

This role within our small and inclusive workforce is perfect for someone with a positive, team-oriented attitude and a genuine excitement for our mission.

About you
Above all else, you'll have a passion for sport and a desire to make a tangible difference in people's lives, as well as the following:

● Passionate about providing sports and physical activity for disabled people
● Engage with participants and deliver high-quality inclusive activity sessions
● Experience in coaching sports/activities to disabled children and/or adults
● Self-motivated with the ability to lead a session for children and adults with a wide range of disabilities, including learning and physical
● Hold a CIMPSA accredited coaching qualification
● Hold a First Aid certificate issued within the past 3 years
● Hold a Safeguarding Adults/Child Protection certificate issued within the past 3 years
● Awareness of how Health and Safety impacts delivery of sessions
