The opportunity

We're seeking a skilled and strategic B2B Marketing Consultant (Marketing Manager or Senior Consultant level) on a freelance/consultancy basis to support the launch of a SaaS and AI-enabled platform, as part of a broader technology and consultancy-led offering from a global business working exclusively within the life sciences sector, serving global and North American pharma and biotech clients.

  • Shaping and refining the go-to-market strategy and plan for a next-generation SaaS and AI-enabled platform
  • Driving execution across messaging, campaign planning, multichannel activation, and early sales support
  • Bridging strategic thinking and hands-on delivery – someone who can accelerate progress, bring clarity, plug critical gaps, and get things done!

Do you have what we are looking for?

Skills & expertise

  • Senior-level B2B marketing experience, with a strong track record in tech-enabled service models or SaaS within regulated or complex industries
  • Experience transitioning legacy platforms to SaaS or AI-enabled solutions
  • Understanding of integrated offerings such as how technology and advisory services combine to deliver managed services
  • Sector-specific knowledge of the life sciences industry, particularly across medical affairs, medical communications, clinical, and commercial domains
  • Familiarity with the enterprise sales cycle in pharma/biotech, and how marketing supports the sales effort
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and presenting to senior stakeholders, as well as briefing internal teams and external partners (e.g. creative agencies, content writers)
  • Strong capabilities in strategic planning, messaging development, multichannel campaign execution, and optimisation
  • Confident producing and adapting messaging and materials for different audience segments and implementation stages
  • Hands-on experience with marketing tools and tactics such as Salesforce, Pardot, LinkedIn Ads, and active use of AI

Additional Details

  • Start date: Immediate start
  • Time commitment: 2–3 days per week through December 2025, with the option to extend or move to full-time in 2026
  • Status: Freelance / contract role
  • Location: Primarily remote; occasional in-person collaboration in London or Manchester with potential travel to the US or Netherlands
  • Time zones: Able to work flexibly with both UK and US (Eastern Time) teams
  • Day rate: Competitive, depending on experience
  • Project status: Foundations are in place, we now need someone to sharpen, structure, and scale
