Red Sky Personnel Ltd is seeking a Freelance AV Technician to support client sites in Cambridge. The role involves on-site audio visual and video conferencing support across corporate environments, handling setup, testing, and live operation of AV systems for meetings and events.

The successful candidate will work independently within a team, manage stakeholder expectations, and travel between sites during business hours Monday to Friday. Weekly pay is offered based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as an AV Technician, AV Support, or Video Conferencing support role.
• Strong knowledge of corporate AV and VC technologies.
• Comfortable supporting high-profile meetings and events.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite AV and VC support across client sites in Cambridge.
• Set up and operate integrated event spaces including auditoriums, town halls, presentations, and corporate events.
• Support video conferencing and audio conferencing systems.
• Manage video calls and perform operational testing prior to high-profile meetings and events.
• Prepare and test AV equipment for upcoming meetings and events.
• Deliver day-to-day BAU support across AV/VC facilities including sound, projection, lighting, and web streaming.
• Liaise with senior executives face-to-face and remotely; coordinate with helpdesk and operations teams as needed.
• Complete administrative tasks using Microsoft Office, ticketing systems, and room booking software.
