Monzo is hiring a Fraud Investigator in the Pursue pillar to help prevent fraud and protect customers. You will handle investigations, communicate with other banks, CIFAS and law enforcement, and triage incoming inquiries from financial institutions.

Strong judgement, empathy and the ability to work independently or with the team are essential. We offer a base salary of £27,700–£33,600, a £1,000 annual learning budget, MacBooks for all staff, and remote-work setup support.

Aufgaben

• Investigating and actioning fraud reports received from other financial institutions.
• Probing for further evidence where needed.
• Using Monzo’s values to investigate claims with empathy and attention to detail.
• Investigating and reporting fraud to other banks when our customers have been a victim of fraud.
• Triaging and taking initial action on inbound communications from a range of institutions.
• Creating and actioning indemnities and defunds where needed.
• Reporting to CIFAS
