As part of our Elevation strategy, we are investing £100M into the digital growth of the business to enhance customer experience and support growth across our online channels. You will join our commercial team focusing on aspects within the product lifecycle, including product trends & performance, buying from third-party brands, and ensuring stock is replenished online in the right volumes, at the right price, in the right places, and at the right times. This role involves managing these activities for our online platforms and in-store.

With increased demand in online purchasing, this is your opportunity to own a product area and develop a commercial strategy for future growth.

Salary: £22k + 20% discount across all group brands and Everlast Gyms
Start date: Immediate with ongoing intakes throughout 2021 and 2022
Location: Shirebrook HQ

What will you be doing?

  • Expanding existing categories by introducing new products and building relationships with third-party brands such as Nike, Under Armour, Calvin Klein, and Hugo Boss.
  • Meeting with renowned and emerging brands to discover new categories.
  • Analyzing market trends to stay at the forefront of online buying.
  • Developing digital innovations within online purchasing functions and across the wider business.
  • Coordinating with different teams to optimize sales through analysis of consumer purchasing behavior.
  • Reviewing top-performing products and maximizing their potential via stock or marketing strategies.
  • Updating brand product catalogues, removing discontinued lines, and refreshing where necessary.
  • Analyzing product performance and adjusting ordering budgets accordingly.

The role involves continuously expanding our e-commerce offerings across a wide range of products, from sports equipment to garden equipment. We seek self-motivated candidates who want to own categories and drive market growth.
