Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Deputy Framework Manager to support the SPaTS3 Framework across the UK, with occasional Birmingham travel. The role covers bid/tender management, governance, and client relationships to deliver contractual commitments.

You will oversee bid processes, cost reporting, and rate management while collaborating with the Framework Manager and bid teams to drive improvements and successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate tenders: allocation to bid teams, schedule, on-time submissions with safety/quality focus.
• Lead tender queries/clarifications, ensure accurate, compliant responses.
• Provide commercial support through tender process: rate development, commercial queries.
• Maintain opportunity pipeline with tracking/forecasting with Framework Manager and bid teams.
• Prepare and support internal bid governance activities and attendance at governance meetings.
• Contribute to bid lessons learned and performance improvements.
• Support Framework Manager in framework management including leadership reporting and Tender Commitments.
• Support supplier interactions: contract setup, admin, and general queries.
• Guide project teams on mobilization requirements and framework processes.
• Manage internal framework cost and performance reporting, budget tracking and reporting.
• Maintain framework rates/rate cards; ensure updates are timely.
• Lead or support customer initiatives to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Contribute to wider Advisory, Consultancy & Research project delivery as needed.
• Ensure on-time delivery of Tender Commitments and escalate risks.
• Maintain/update framework documentation and templates.
• Support onboarding/training of new Project Managers.
