Job description

We are seeking reliable and hands-on individuals to join our team as Temporary Frame Installation Operatives supporting Royal Mail site operations across Weymouth, Poole & Christchurch. This role involves physical work, use of tools, and working as part of a fast-paced team.

Operators are required:

• Always adhere to safety standards.
• Follow clear instructions.
• Use a variety of tools such as impact drivers, drills, Stanley knives, and measuring tools.
• Show agility and adapt to change easily with support from the Royal Mail Lead.
• Be physically fit.
• Be punctual; flexibility will be required depending on work requirements.

Specifically:

• Bolt and unbolt Royal Mail sorting Frames.
• Handle frames approximately 5 ft high, 6 ft wide, weighing around 45 kg of steel construction.
• Use a drill to unscrew and screw bolts into frames.
• With colleagues' support, move and reposition sorting frames.
• Under the direction of a Royal Mail lead, use vinyl wrap and duct tape to position onto sorting frames.
• Load and unload vehicles (large vans) on operational sites.
