As a Severn Trent Frame and Covers inspector you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of manhole frames and covers. We are recruiting this position to cover a 12 month period.
The basis of your role is to conduct regular inspections, identifying defects, and coordinating repairs to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a candidate with experience in a similar utility-based industry, who is proficient in IT and computers. You should have a strong background in problem-solving, particularly in repair roles, and be comfortable working in customer-facing environments. Ideally, you will also have knowledge of drainage and waste networks.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service abilities. You should be effective in stakeholder management, have a positive outlook, and be adaptable to change. Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in the field are crucial. You must be able to accurately capture and record data and work well both independently and as part of a team.
You must hold a full UK Driving Licence and have Maths and English GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent). It would be advantageous if you have Manual Handling Training and NRSWA certification.
