Job summary

The role requires a Chemistry or Cosmetic Science degree and 3+ years of laboratory experience, with strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate findings clearly. On-site role in Brixworth, Northamptonshire.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science or related discipline.
• 3+ years' experience in flavour, fragrance, cosmetics or related technical environment.
• Laboratory experience in a professional setting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workload.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support development of new fragrance-related technologies.
• Investigate properties and interactions of perfumes and fragrance ingredients across product categories.
• Develop and evaluate new testing methods for fragrance performance.
• Conduct laboratory-based test studies using fragrances and/or raw materials.
• Analyse and interpret test results and communicate findings to project teams.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations of findings and learnings.
• Provide technical support on fragrance stability, suitability and performance.
• Collaborate with colleagues across different areas of the business on technical projects.
