Job summary

Boots is seeking a Category Assistant in Fragrance to shape the customer shopping experience in-store, driving promotions and pricing strategy across the fragrance range.

You’ll collaborate with marketing, pricing and store teams, run sales reports, set up campaign offers in SAP, raise POs and support the category manager with competitive pricing and range decisions. This permanent role is based in Nottingham.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Strong knowledge of SAP programmes.
• Excellent communication skills in person and via Teams/email.
• Ability to develop knowledge of category strategy, performance and range.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the delivery of customer promotions by setting up campaign offers on the Boots SAP system.
• Collaborate with marketing and pricing teams to ensure accurate setup of promotions.
• Confirm promotional funding with suppliers and maintain a tracker for invoicing.
• Check invoice calculations and coordinate with the Trading Process team for accuracy.
• Assist the assistant category manager in reviewing competitor pricing activity.
• Support the stores help desk and customer care team with category-related queries.
• Run sales reports and analyse data for the team and suppliers.
• Raise Purchase Orders for marketing and merchandising activities.
