Job summary

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) is inviting applications for a part-time Nursing Assistant in the Fracture Clinic at Wythenshawe Hospital. The 12-month fixed-term post starts at Band 2, with the possibility of progression, and requires 24 hours per week across four flexible days.

You will work under supervision to support patient care, clinics, and patient flow, with opportunities to engage in a large MDT and learn in a busy outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient settings preferred.
• Enthusiastic and eager to learn.
• Evidence of prior learning will be reviewed.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing team under supervision to deliver patient care.
• Support patients with clinic appointments and ensure smooth patient flow.
• Provide chaperone services when required and coordinate with MDT.
• Role starts at Band 2 unless already at Band 3.
