Job Description

We’re hiring a Head of Compliance for a crypto business on a part-time basis, supporting licensing applications. The role may become permanent once the relevant VASP license is obtained.

Responsibilities

• Own the UK compliance framework and regulatory strategy.
• Serve as the main contact with the FCA and other regulators, leading VASP application and licensing processes.
• Develop and enhance AML, KYC, GDPR, and internal controls.
• Oversee due diligence, transaction monitoring, and reporting.
• Collaborate with teams across jurisdictions in technology, legal, and operations.

Requirements

• 7+ years of compliance experience, including 2+ years in crypto.
• Hands-on experience with FCA and UK regulatory frameworks.
• Knowledge of AML, KYC, GDPR, and risk management.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
• Compliance certifications such as CAMS or ICA are a plus.
