Role Overview:

We are hiring a Head of Compliance to join a cutting-edge crypto company on a part-time basis to support licensing applications. The role has the potential to become permanent once the relevant VASP license is obtained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the UK compliance framework and regulatory strategy.
• Act as the primary contact with the FCA and other regulators, leading VASP application and licensing processes.
• Develop and enhance AML, KYC, GDPR, and internal controls.
• Oversee due diligence, transaction monitoring, and reporting activities.
• Collaborate with teams across jurisdictions including legal, tech, and operations.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of compliance experience, with at least 2+ years in crypto.
• Practical experience with FCA and UK regulatory frameworks.
• Knowledge of AML, KYC, GDPR, and risk management.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
• Compliance certifications such as CAMS or ICA are a plus.
