Permanent Fractional CFO

Amplifi Talent are partnered with a high-growth, multi-revenue stream business to appoint a commercially astute and strategically minded Fractional CFO. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic leadership team and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of a scaling organisation.

Our client is an ambitious and fast-growing business operating across multiple revenue streams. With a strong leadership team and a clear vision for growth, they are seeking a senior finance leader to provide strategic oversight and financial direction.

As Fractional CFO, you will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to drive financial strategy, performance, and planning. With a Financial Controller managing the day-to-day finance function, your focus will be on high-level financial leadership, commercial insight, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Financial Leadership
    • Advise the CEO and leadership team on financial strategy, planning, and risk management.
    • Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning.
    • Provide commercial insight to support strategic initiatives and business development.
  • Oversight & Governance
    • Oversee and support the Financial Controller in maintaining strong financial operations and overseeing their production of monthly management accounts.
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
    • Manage relationships with external stakeholders including auditors, banks, and investors.
  • Performance Monitoring
    • Track and analyse financial performance across diverse revenue streams.
    • Develop and report on KPIs to inform decision-making and drive accountability.
    • Present financial updates and strategic insights to the board and investors.
  • Capital & Funding
    • Evaluate investment opportunities and support M&A activity where relevant.
Key Requirements
  • Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance leader in a high-growth, multi-revenue business.
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Experience mentoring finance teams and working with senior leadership.
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
