What it looks like:

• This isn't a full-time job — it’s a spot in our fractional community @ enki
• We’ll match you with fast-growing startups and scaleups who need your help
• You’ll work directly with founders and senior teams to scope, build, and ship
• You’ll design and implement task-specific agents that plug into internal tools, CRMs, inboxes, docs, or customer flows
• You’ll join a curated community of peers in your industry — catching up on bi-weekly calls & F2F events
• You’ll pay us ZERO
• Most engagements are 1–3 days per week
• Fractional availability is required — this isn’t for full-time workers

What we’re looking for:

• You’ve delivered real business impact through automation — ideally with 5+ years of experience building systems or workflows in fast-moving companies
• You’ve built or contributed to agents that complete workflows (e.g. qualifying leads, triggering outreach, summarising updates, syncing data across systems)
• You have a strong, practical understanding of the LLM ecosystem — you know when to use GPT-4 vs Claude, the tradeoffs with open-source models like Mistral or LLaMA, and how to choose based on use case
• You’re fluent across tools — Zapier, Make, Airtable, Python, APIs, Notion, CRMs — and know how to choose the right stack for the problem
• You can work independently and turn messy founder asks into clean systems
• You communicate clearly and keep teams in the loop without fluff
• You’re UK-based or timezone-aligned (or happy to work UK hours)

Requirements:

• Proven experience delivering business results through automation
• Comfortable with a range of tools (no-code, low-code, custom scripts, APIs)
• Clear, concise communicator
• Able to work directly with founders and small teams
• Available 1–3 days/week for client work
• UK-based or timezone-aligned

Really Nice to Have:

• Experience with startups and scale ups, and fast-moving teams
• Built internal tools or dashboards (Notion, Retool, Airtable, etc.)
• Background working with growth, ops, or product teams
• Freelance or fractional experience
• A mini portfolio or write-up of projects you’re proud of
