Job Description

  • Conduct comprehensive fire risk assessments of various properties.
  • Create detailed reports outlining potential fire hazards and suggest mitigating strategies.
  • Work closely with the construction team to ensure all projects adhere to fire safety regulations.
  • Provide fire safety advice and guidance to clients and team members.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fire safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Regularly liaise with fire safety bodies and regulatory authorities.
  • Participate in site inspections and audits to ensure compliance.
  • Promote a culture of fire safety awareness within the organisation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Fire Surveyor should have:

  • A degree or qualification in Fire Safety, Building Surveying, or a related field.
  • Practical experience working as a Fire Surveyor within the property and construction industry.
  • A deep understanding of fire safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High level of detail orientation and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
