Job description

Carpenters required to work with Birmingham/Black Country based Housing Association to carry out planned fire doors installations and carpentry repairs.

My client requires experienced, professional, and hard-working Carpenters to carry out fire door fitting and installations and carpentry repairs on domestic social housing properties across the Black Country/Birmingham region.

Work will include:

1. Replacing fire doors
2. Skirting
3. Architraves
4. Kitchen repairs
5. Other related carpentry repairs work

Start date: Asap

Location: Rowley Regis/ Black Heath/ Birmingham

Hours: 40 per week

Pay rate: £25 - £25 ph + over time and company van

Duration: 3 months minimum

Job type: Temp contract paid weekly

Requirements:

1. Minimum NVQ L2 or City & Guilds in Carpentry (Time served may be considered)
2. Competent in fire door fitting
3. Experience of working as a Carpenter in the building trade either as a Carpenter or as a multi-skilled Carpenter
4. Experience of working for a Social Housing, housing association or council
5. Full driving License is ideal but not essential
