About the Role - FRA Carpenter, Greater London

You’ll be delivering vital fire safety work across multiple properties, ensuring all carpentry work meets the highest standards and complies with fire safety certifications.

Key responsibilities:

  • Install and remediate fire doorsets, including communal riser doors, cross corridor doors, and flat entrance doors
  • Construct and remediate electrical meter cupboards
  • Ensure works comply with FIRAS and BM Trada standards
  • Complete job reports and provide accurate records of work
  • Communicate professionally with clients, site staff, and office teams
  • Deliver a friendly and reliable customer service experience

About You

We’re looking for proactive, skilled carpenters with strong attention to detail and a background in fire safety works.

  • UK driving licence (required)
  • At least 2 years’ experience in FRA carpentry
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the public sector (preferred)
  • NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry / Carpentry & Joinery / Site Carpentry (preferred, not essential)
  • FIRAS certification or assessment (preferred, not essential)
  • A high standard of workmanship and commitment to compliance

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00
  • 1-hour lunch break
  • Optional evening and weekend work available at enhanced rates
