FPGA Firmware Engineer - Defence Communications
Location: Peterborough (3 days per week on-site)
Salary: £65,000-£80,000 + excellent benefits

Join a growing engineering team delivering critical communications solutions that keep air travel safe worldwide. This is a fantastic opportunity for an FPGA Firmware Engineer to take ownership of complex firmware projects for FPGA-based DSP systems used in advanced aviation communication products. You'll be part of a team of around 50 engineers working across the full development lifecycle, from design through to testing and validation.
What you'll be doing
You'll design, develop, test, and document firmware for FPGA-based DSP applications. Working closely with the Test & Acceptance teams, you'll support integration, test plan development, execution, and reporting. You'll participate in design and code reviews, provide informal guidance to junior engineers, and contribute ideas within a collaborative environment.
