You’ll work from early architectural decisions through lab prove‑out, balancing hardware and software in DSP workloads, with multidisciplinary teams and a route to technical leadership. The role offers a competitive salary, a 14% pension, overtime and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Experience in FPGA design and embedded software development.
• Embedded C/C++ on constrained platforms with DSP workloads.
• Knowledge of SoC architectures and hardware/software partitioning.
• Security clearance requires British citizenship or dual national status.

Responsibilities

• Develop FPGA firmware and integrate embedded software with hardware.
• Model performance, latency, and bandwidth for systems.
• Participate in decisions on what goes into FPGA vs software.
• Lead or contribute to lab bring-up and system prove-out.
