Job Details

• Title: FPGA Designer
• Salary: Up to circa £75,000 depending on experience
• Locations: Stevenage, Bristol, and Bolton (relocation package may be available)
• Working arrangement: Hybrid (4-5 days on-site, flexible options available)
• Security Clearance: Must be a British Citizen or dual UK national with British citizenship; BPSS checks required.

The Opportunity

Our FPGA Design team is rapidly growing! We are seeking talented FPGA Design Engineers to work on projects involving signal processing, embedded processing, and security-critical systems. Your role will encompass all phases of FPGA design, from requirements to validated implementation, with opportunities to influence design and leverage latest technologies.

What We're Looking For

• Degree-level education or equivalent
• Experience with FPGA architectures and design using VHDL, Simulink, etc., targeting Xilinx, Intel, and Microsemi devices
• Verification skills using VHDL and SystemVerilog/UVM
• Proficiency with FPGA design tools and Mentor verification tools (QuestaSim & ModelSim)
• Skills in low-level software development (C) for FPGA testing and integration
• Ability to document designs professionally

Note: Some roles require security clearance, including DV (Developed Vetting).
