Job summary

Lynx Recruitment Ltd represents a rapidly growing technology and engineering organisation near Cambridge seeking an FPGA Engineer - Consultant to join a multidisciplinary team.

You will design FPGA firmware using VHDL/Verilog, work with Vivado or Quartus, develop DSP algorithms and help take projects from PoC to working prototypes, collaborating with engineers across disciplines. The role offers exposure to defence, communications and security applications.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background with FPGA-based solutions.
• Experience designing and implementing FPGA firmware.
• Proficiency with VHDL and/or Verilog and FPGA toolchains.
• Knowledge of digital design, verification, debugging and testing.

Responsibilities

• FPGA firmware design and development using VHDL and/or Verilog.
• Work with FPGA toolchains such as Vivado or Quartus.
• FPGA architecture, implementation, debugging and verification.
• Develop DSP algorithms and integrate with systems.
• Contribute to system architecture and technical design.
• Support prototype development and HW/SW integration.
• Test, debug and document designs.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
