Job summary

A leading technology company in Waterbeach is looking for an FPGA Designer to enhance its product range. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SystemVerilog and Python, and be capable of working with timing constraints and low power design. This role emphasizes collaboration with hardware and software engineers to deliver cutting-edge imaging technologies. Qualifications

• Experience with the cocotb Python library is desirable.
• Understand timing reports, modify designs to close timing.
• Write module specifications and review drafts.
• Ability to write and review timing constraints.
• Knowledge of low power design techniques.
• Experience writing module specifications and reviewing drafts.
• Ability to review code and documentation to company standards.
• Experience building a reusable library following coding standards.

Responsibilities

• Contribute modules to a library used across the product range.
• Work with engineers to bring new products to market.
• Follow engineering best practices in FPGA code development.

About You

You will be joining the FPGA Design Team and contributing modules to a library that is used across our product range. Experience with the cocotb Python library is desirable.

You will be required to write timing constraints, understand timing reports, and where necessary, modify designs to close timing.

We work with hardware, software and mechanical engineers to bring new products to market.
