Position Summary

The Commercial Finance FP&A Team supports the MX Commercial Finance Team and wider Sales/Controlling teams with daily operations including commercial planning, forecasting, and analysis. The team ensures the efficiency of quarterly commercial planning processes and supports the monthly forecasting activities, ensuring data accuracy in the system.

Role and Responsibilities

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the MX Commercial Finance Team and Sales/Controlling teams in daily operations such as planning and forecasting.
  • Ensure quarterly planning processes are efficient and support monthly forecast uploads with accurate data reflection.
MX Quarterly Commercial Planning
  • Maintain and update commercial plan templates for all MX products (Smartphone, Tablet, Wearables, NPC).
  • Consolidate multiple plans to present comprehensive revenue and sell-out data with short lead times.
  • Assist MX Sales team with plan template issues and queries.
  • Collaborate with FP&A managers to upgrade planning templates to meet evolving requirements.
Financial Forecasting/Targeting/Planning
  • Manage the upload process for monthly forecast data, requiring intensive work once a month.
  • Maintain forecast templates for all MX products.
  • Support annual management planning activities, including preparation and uploads.
  • Work closely with the Commercial Finance team on forecasting and planning tasks.
Financial Management & Control
  • Assist in monthly financial reporting, including performance analysis and ad hoc reports, within deadlines.
  • Consolidate data from finance and operational systems.
  • Serve as a super user for NERP and related systems.
Ad-hoc Support
  • Provide financial analysis and insights on operational and financial results within deadlines.
Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills:

  • Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, formulas).
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Quick learner with strong analytical skills.
  • Part or fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective decision-making under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.

Success Criteria:

  • Experience in the relevant sector.
  • Experience working in sales environments and with diverse cultures.
