About this role

As Senior FP&A analyst you will get tons of freedom, the opportunity to put your own stamp on things as well as exposure to lots of Senior stakeholders in the business.

You will own the relationship, reporting and budgeting and outlook for some of the most important parts of our UK business, in order to drive financially sound decision making across the business.

It’s a really varied role where you will be a trusted deputy, own relationships with senior stakeholders as well as helping with leading and developing the wider UK FP&A team. There will be plenty of opportunity to get involved in Finance activity that impacts the entire Business, as well as supporting on project work with exposure to the UK CFO and wider Leadership team.

We expect you to be a voice of Finance within the business and provide effective support, problem solving and objection as well as expertise in your area.

What you’ll do

Partner with key stakeholders in the business to produce monthly Outlook and Annual Budget reports ensuring that any risks or opportunities are effectively communicated and understood

Be at the forefront of problem solving / strategic developments / forecasting within our P&L, balancing both the short and long term views

Work in partnership with senior stakeholders to drive sustainable efficiencies for the business and ensure any investment is optimised

Ensure all month end activity is completed in an accurate and timely manner

Identify and take ownership for developing process improvements

Develop the next generation of finance talent within the finance department

What we’re looking for

Finance professional with strong technical understanding and significant experience in a relevant role, as well as a strong understanding of the key P&L drivers of a business in this industry

You’ll need strong Business Partnering skills, in particular the ability to quickly build relationships and interact effectively with senior stakeholders

The skills to confidently and accurately talk about your business areas and answer questions / solve problems

Strong collaboration, communication and influencing skills

Advanced analytical skills would also be highly beneficial in this role
