Job summary

SEGA Europe Ltd. is seeking a Finance-literate Project Manager to run the PMO for the CPM programme and data initiatives in London.

You will drive process transformation, document finance processes, and coordinate across Finance, IT and HR to ensure timely delivery. The role requires 5–8 years of project management experience, CPM/EPM knowledge, and a strong grasp of the full finance cycle, including month-end close, budgeting and FP&A reporting.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years’ project management experience, including CPM/EPM, financial systems or finance transformation delivery.
• Full finance cycle knowledge: financial accounting and month-end close as well as FP&A reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience running several initiatives at once in a matrix organisation, managing a wide range of stakeholders at different levels.
• Experience of process mapping, process documentation and supporting organisational change.
• Working knowledge of master data, hierarchies and change control; structured UAT and release management.
• Excellent organisational skills, with hands-on use of project management tools (e.g. Smartsheet, Jira/Confluence) to keep work on track and transparent.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g. Copilot, Claude, Smartsheet AI) to automate and optimise tasks.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Nice to have CPM/EPM platforms (Vena, Anaplan, Adaptive, Hyperion); ERP systems such as Oracle; HRIS.
• Experience in a global organisation, ideally in video games.
• Working environment London-based, hybrid: three days in the office and two days working from home.

Responsibilities

About the role

SEGA Europe’s Finance, Business Planning and Studio Finance teams are moving FP&A data, reporting and planning from fragmented, Excel-driven processes to governed, scalable CPM solutions. At the same time, these teams are changing how they work. We are looking for a finance-literate Project Manager to bring one consistent delivery standard to both – running the PMO for our CPM programme and data initiatives, driving process transformation, and making sure Finance processes are properly documented.

What you will do

• PMO for the CPM programme and data-driven initiatives Plan and run delivery across a portfolio of concurrent initiatives – plans, milestones, dependencies, RAID, change control and status reporting. Keep progress transparent at all times: where each initiative stands, what is outstanding, who owns the next action, and what is needed to finish. Coordinate UAT, parallel testing, cutover and go-live with Finance, Business Planning, Studio Finance, IT, HR and implementation partners. Set and maintain PMO standards, templates and a single portfolio view; run the delivery cadence and steering committee packs.
• Process transformation Map the processes and handoffs affected by change, and plan the transition around the Finance calendar (month-end close, budget, forecast and mid-term planning). Identify adoption risks early; plan communications, training and readiness so new ways of working are adopted, not left to settle informally.
• Process documentation Help Finance teams document their processes using the AI tools available, and keep that documentation current on a regular cycle. Make sure project, process and governance documents are complete, approved and easy to find, with decisions recorded when they are made. Reduce reliance on individual knowledge, so absence or handover never stalls an initiative.

What you will bring

• 5-8 years’ project management experience, including CPM/EPM, financial systems or finance transformation delivery.
• Solid understanding of the full finance cycle – financial accounting and month-end close as well as FP&A reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience running several initiatives at once in a matrix organisation, managing a wide range of stakeholders at different levels.
• Experience of process mapping, process documentation and supporting organisational change.
• Working knowledge of master data, hierarchies and change control; structured UAT and release management.
• Excellent organisational skills, with hands‑on use of project management tools (e.g. Smartsheet, Jira/Confluence) to keep work on track and transparent.
• Hands‑on experience using AI tools (e.g. Copilot, Claude, Smartsheet AI) to automate and optimise tasks.
• A confident facilitator who can influence without direct authority, stays calm under pressure and picks up new tools quickly.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Nice to have CPM/EPM platforms (Vena, Anaplan, Adaptive, Hyperion); ERP systems such as Oracle; HRIS.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or change management certification (e.g. Prosci); ACA, ACCA or CIMA (full or part-qualified).
• Experience in a global organisation, ideally in video games.
