Senior Manager, FP&A UK & Ireland
Location: Basingstoke
Hybrid working: 2 days per week in the office
Salary: £70,000 £80,000 + 15% Bonus + £7,500 Car Allowance + Excellent Pension

I'm currently working with a well-established, multinational client in the healthcare and life sciences sector to recruit a Senior FP&A Manager for their UK & Ireland business. This is a key commercial finance role with high visibility across the organisation and significant scope to influence strategic decisions, including around potential acquisitions.

The role will suit a commercially minded, qualified accountant with strong business partnering skills and solid FP&A experience or a first mover from practice who has the right mindset and ambition to drive performance in a fast-paced, international environment.

Role Overview
You ll be the finance business partner to the UK & Ireland commercial leadership team, playing a pivotal role in driving insight, accountability, and strategic thinking across the business. Reporting to the EMEA Head of Business Finance, you ll be responsible for:

  • Leading all financial planning and analysis activity across the UK & Ireland
  • Full ownership of the P&L, including revenue, margin, and operating expenses
  • Partnering with directors to influence strategic decisions and support business growth
  • Leading the financial planning element of the M&A strategy
  • Driving improvements in budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting
  • Enhancing reporting and analysis tools with exposure to systems such as Cognos, Oracle, Tableau and Longview

Candidate Profile
We're looking for someone who brings:

  • A commercial and strategic mindset with strong analytical and communication skills
  • A recognised accounting qualification (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) open to first movers from practice
  • Experience in FP&A or commercial finance within a multinational business (ideally manufacturing, healthcare or related industries)
  • Systems knowledge across tools such as Cognos, Oracle, Longview, and Tableau is highly desirable
  • Any additional European language skills would be a bonus
